I’ve cleaned a few fresh road kill deer, and I’d have to be really hungry to do it again.

I've never cleaned a road killed deer, but friends have. Very little to salvage.

Last year I saw a dead elk on the highway outside of Chikasha. That is the only time I ever even considered a road kill animal and if I knew how long it was there, I may have done it. Otherwise, I would pass and never considered it.

I use to work with a guy from Louisiana if I seen a deer by the road I would tell him and he would leave work and go get it if it was close

Those cajuns will eat anything! We have close friends that live in the Henderson Swamp, South of Lafayette.

I saw that same one, surprised one was that far North.
