The pawn shop here in Carlsbad actually had an Auto Ordanance Thompson, the kid behind the counter (he looked 14) even knew about drum magazines (or is it round clips). Their prices were full retail, but I was just looking and didn't try to haggle. They also had an M1A, not match or heavy match, but a normal M1A. A rack full of Ar's and a lot of pistols. The kid even knew I could (a non-resident) buy a long gun.
They had a tiny store but it was packed with re-loading supplies, equipment & guns.
