It started raining around 11 am.

We went out for some lunch and picked up some groceries and brought them in, and it rained the whole time.

I have imparted all of the wisdom I have to impart onto this forum, and it's still raining. So I'm going to take a nap.

I thought you all should know.

Here, but occasionally There.
We tried to go out and do some road condition surveying today, but some of the streets we need to work were just wet enough that we couldn't. So, we went to Chili's for lunch and are now back in the hotel. The nap idea has already hit, and I might just head that way pretty soon.

Took these today...

I just need to remember to ALWAYS pack my camera into the van instead of relying on my cell phone camera.

Good evening guys,
All packed up for our road trip to Austin, TX tomorrow. We have a convention down there this weekend. Gas is running about .15 to .25 cents higher per gallon than here. Hopefully it won't go through the roof while we are gone.

We were down there a few weeks or month or so ago. Price differences were about the same as what you are reporting now.

We were in Austin, Texas this weekend for a work convention. Weekend went good but coming home was a nightmare.
We left Austin at 11:30am and got home here in Yukon after 9pm. The rain was horrendous. It was stop and go getting out of Austin and the interstate was at a stand still for a while in Waco, wrecks everywhere around Ft. Worth. It cleared up a little once we got into Oklahoma but still rained most of the way back.
What normally takes 5 1/2 to 6 hours took over 9 hours. It was a nightmare. But made it home safe and sound.

Hope everyone had a great weekend.
