I remember as a little boy, that my Dad told me one time that if a herd of cows is lying down in a field, it was gonna rain that day.
A few days later, we were in the car going somewhere and saw a bunch of cows in the field --- about equal amounts were standing or lying. I reminded Dad what he told me about the rain and then asked what this meant.
Without hesitation, he said, "half of 'em are wrong."
