Good morning folks.
I have a 11 hour work day today then driving back up to Grand lake late tonight for a few days.

Good to know. I've been planning on coming by your studio sometime and knowing this will prevent me from making the trip for nothing. Plus, with your 11 hour work day, today probably wouldn't be a good day anyway.

Good morning, Everyone. I'll be "continuing" a treasure hunt today....

....how is it that one can lose something in such a small space as a 38 1/2-foot fifth wheel that is less than 400 square feet in space inside?

I've got a leak at one of the fittings of our Eze-Kleen sewer system pipe that uses o-ring gaskets to seal each section to the next. I ordered a number of both sizes some time back and got them in, but now I can't find them, and I've looked in every storage tub and cabinet that I can find with no luck.

Wife tells me to just order some more, and as soon as those get here, I'll find the others.

If I don't find them today, I guess I'll have to do just that.

I think that the bad o-ring is one of the two on this piece of the Eze-Kleen system.

Update on this:

Yesterday, I again searched every tub and box in the basement area of the RV and again inside. One place that I hadn't checked was a portion of the RV's cabinetry where we keep a plastic container with all the owner's manuals associated with the RV. Wife had said that she had gone through that area and nothing was there...

...so, having checked everywhere else, i decided that maybe I had put those o-rings in that box with the manuals. I opened the cabinet and see a couple of boxes on top of the manual box. The one box I recognized as the one with replacement bulbs for the RV lights. The other was smaller and surprised me, so I took out the smaller box.

Yeppers....that was where the o-rings were kept. I should have thought of that since we keep "replacement" bulbs there, so why not "replacement" o-rings?

I'm still going to blame the wife. She said nothing was there.

Good afternoon guys.
Had a good day out on the lake today. It was a bit windy but still good. The sun felt great.
Got in and grilled some steaks on the Blackstone for the wife and I to have for dinner. Man, they were good.

Now just relaxing on the deck drinking Hurricanes that my wife made.

Got the Ford F450 out yesterday to go exercise it. It has been so long since I last did it, I had to jump it to get it started.

While out driving close to 30 miles to exercise it (I don't want to have to put too many miles and need to replenish diesel at current prices), I stopped at a "new" local gun store out east of Blanchard on Highway 62 called "Dirt Rhodes." (Someone else had mentioned that it was there in another thread, so I decided to stop and check it out. Not a bad little store. They have archery, rifles, handguns, a few optics, and other accessories for each "genre" of interest.) Being a new start-up business, their firearms stock wasn't really outstanding, but considering current prices, I wouldn't expect them to have a whole lot.

Their business is across Highway 62 from Knippelmeyer Chevrolet.

I had full intentions of going to the range with one of my 1911's this morning for the first time in several months but with the current 39° temp and 28 mph north wind I think I'll pass so instead I think I'll turn those 200 230 gr. FMJRN Hornady bullets I lucked into at Academy yesterday into loaded 45 ACP ammo...........the way I see it there's no such thing as having too much 45 ACP ammo. :)
