We are flying to Phoenix this Friday afternoon but kind of worried with all the cancellations that Southwest is doing right now. They cancelled thousands of flights today with more to come in the next few days. We have already heard from a few of the judges that were going in early, and their flights got canceled today. And they live on the Eastcoast so they can’t just jump in a car and drive. Well they could but they wouldn’t get there early.
We will have to drive if our flight gets canceled but man, I am not looking forward to the 13 hour drive. Fingers cross that ours doesn’t get canceled.

I'll be headed towards Louisiana later today, didn't go last weekend because we thought he would be home by now, but it hasn't happened. So my beautiful and tough wife and I will head down with threats, bribes, etc to try to get my dad out of that hospital bed. They gave him a feeding tube through his nose last night and he pulled it out during the night. She said this morning he acted like he didn't know who she was or where he is. Hoping thats just hospital delirium of some sort. Thank you all so much for your support, especially keep my mom in mind.

I spent most of my day watching our new storage shed being put together behind our RV. We've pretty much decided that we aren't likely to be moving the RV much in the future, so this will help us with some storage needs. I don't know what others have done, but we got a 6'x10' "lean-to style" from Tuff Shed.

Beyond that, we got word that my 81-year-old sister fell again, and this time she broke an arm. Her daughter told me that she has fallen three times in the last 8 days. In addition, her dementia seems to be accelerating somewhat. They have elected to not do surgery on the broken arm because of issues in the past with the shoulder and surgery on that in the past. On top of that, her daughter has her own health issues and can't take care of her mother, so she might be put in a facility to get her some care for a while.

I’ll definitely be praying for your family Terry. In my opinion, dementia and Alzheimer’s are fates worse than death. I’ve got an Uncle and one of my Dad’s first cousins suffering from dementia now. I hate to say it, but I’m glad my Dad went first and isn’t having to watch his two hunting partners deteriorate like they are.
