OK I have questions for @dancer4life and that pontoon boat with 200HP.
Is it a tritoon?
How long is it?
The boat not the third member.
What is the top speed?
What is the MPG? If you know that.

I have a 20 foot 75HP pontoon, MPG is horrible, top speed is 22- 24 MPH.
1.5 MPG
Is it a Tritoon———- Yes, It’s a Ranger Tritoon
How long is it ——— 24 foot
What is the top speed —— 43mph with just me in it an no trolling motor or dual batteries.
38mph loaded to go fishing
What is the MPG ———- I don’t really know. It has a 55 gallon gas tank on it. I normally fill it up two times . during the summer months when i‘m using it the most.
The motor is a Mercury Verado 200hp V6.

The wife and I bought this boat new in 2021. It will probably be our last boat. We love it.

Interesting.
2 fill ups all summer?

I take my 1998 75HP 2 stroke pontoon to Thunderbird and launch it by the twin bridges and set jugs out there, drift and check jugs and never leave the sight of the bridges and go through 15 gallons or more from 8AM until 4 pm.

My 15 foot 1975 Bayliner 50 hp 2 stroke uses less than 5 gallons doing the same thing.

I have heard these new 4 strokes are gas sippers.

I totally understand.
But with me living on the lake and very close to where I normally fish, I don’t use a lot of gas. Heck when I troll for white bass, I’m only about 200 yards off of my shoreline in front of my house.
But I also use my MinnKota Terova trolling motor a lot for trolling.
Really the only time that I really run it for longer distances is when we have the kids out for tubing (only on the 3 holiday weekends) or when our friends come out and we go to the various restaurants on the water.
Some years are different than others.
But I am fortunate not to have to run my boat long distance to fish.

Here, but occasionally There.
We are down to about 200 miles of Texas roads yet to survey, and it rained last night here in Paris, TX, so we drove over to Denison. The state is having us survey some of the roads in the state parks, and when we were in Denison and worked Eisenhower State park, one area was closed, so we couldn't work those three records in the camping area.

So, since it was still raining around Paris and Clarksville, we worked the park roads. This evening it is pretty clear, so we think we can get back to work tomorrow and maybe finish up the initial database. Once that is done, it is just a matter of waiting a few days or so to see if any redo's need to be worked.

Looking forward to being done for the year.

Does it have the back up battery in the event of a power outage?
Yes it does. Also comes with the manual opener like every other garage door has which I quickly zip tied shut.
Read somewhere that thieves go through the top of the door with a wire to hook the hanging handle and pull it to open the door.
If I need to use it, the zip tie will have to be cut.

I did something this week I’ve never even considered before. I got an email from ATT with a trade in offer for a new phone, and I decided to trade up before my phone is worthless. I generally wait until my phones completely crap out and end up paying the full price for a new one.
I’m going from the 11 Pro (which went through the prescribed burn last year and survived) to a 15 Pro.
I could’ve picked it up yesterday, but after getting off work and mowing my yard when I got home, I just didn’t have it in me to clean up and drive an hour to the ATT store. :rolleyes2

I hope y’all have a great Saturday!!!:thumb:
