Joplin, MO has Shoal Creek flowing on the south side of the city, although by my reckoning, it is more like a river than a creek. But then, I come from the Panhandle, which really doesn't have much of anything in the way of flowing water.

One of many exhibits at the 45th Infantry Division Museum in Oklahoma City. I've made numerous trips to this one to get pictures of the displays both inside and outside on the grounds. Lots of stuff to see.

We arrived in Ardmore a bit ago and got checked into our room for the weekend. About to head to Thackerville to try the casino food and get ready for the Stevie Nicks concert!

She sure did! I'm not necessarily a huge fan or whatever, but that gal can still sing great for 75 years old! And did some good tributes to Tom Petty and Christine McVie. And the duet clip was with her personal vocal coach.

I'd have never imagined it, but on a trip through Nebraska to go to South Dakota, we stumbled upon Nebraska's "national forest."

Hard to believe that is Nebraska, granted I've only been to a small part of it.

Good evening friends,
Well this weekend I was the painter, landscaper and sod layer.
I rototilled my Moms backyard yesterday, then laid 1000 sq. ft. of fescue sod. Landscaped around the new sod. Today we planted flowers for her and painted her two sheds. She has a brand new back yard and she loves it. It was our Mother’s Day gift to her.

We also got the front of our lake house all planted and the deck decorated for the summer. It was a busy weekends.

Heading back to the city in the morning for work. It’s going to be a busy one tomorrow.
