Gorgeous sunset tonight on Grand Lake.

I was hoping to see the Northern Lights that most of the US got to see last night, but the 100' tall walnut trees North of the house prevented that.
We are overcast tonight so it's not going to happen. Had planned on driving to the dam at Kaw lake that has an unobstructed view of the Northern Sky.

I've possibly posted this one before, but allow me to show those not in the know about Slapout, OK. It is located in Beaver County on Highway 412.

My place here in Texas was already completely saturated, and my gauge this morning says we got another 5” between yesterday and overnight. It’s not “tornado messy”, but I’ve got a mess.

I predict in 30-60 days I’ll be begging for a shower.
