the best off the shelf store bought jerky I've ever had is likely No Man's Land, MIO no less!



I'll second that.

Try Fesperman's, also MIO. If you go to the state fair, they have a stand inside the MIO building. In fact, it's the only jerky stand in that building. I recommend the Peppered. No Man's Land tastes very similar, but Fesperman's is just that much better.

Edit - Maybe I'm thinking of Hard Times jerky.

I'm a big fan of 'Ralph's Beef Jerky' for commercial made stuff. Kinda hard to get around the Tulsa area though.

I've been a Ralph's fan for many years. In the old days, I would drive to Perkins to get a case or two to split among friends.

You might take a look at the Walmarts in your area. Several in the OKC metro carries it.
