All about having a strong conference and strength of schedule. Would we have rather had the Longhorns beat UCLA before OU beat them? I think so. A win against a 7th ranked team looks better than a win against a team that is now unranked. BTW whats the score of the OSU game someone?

I agree with the logic but I still can't root for them.

You haven't been the trouble maker in this thread and I didn't mean to get you upset. The OU fans that come in here to rub it in are the ones that really give all the other ones a bad rep.

Why do we get so riled up over stuff that ultimately, doesn't really matter?

My thoughts exactly and by now many of you know that I think the whole in-state rivalry thing is just plain silly. I've posted this before and got the "What rivalry" bs. Well if there is no rivalry then why do the fans hate each other so? I used to be a hater and I was the world champion at it. But I realized it was doing me no good and I put it all away. I challenge others to do the same.
