Report on the weekend. A good friend and I went to Kaw to try below the dam. No water being released. We fished for about three hours there and my buddy was able to snag two. A twenty pound make and a 52 pound female. It made the trip completely worth it. Nada for me. It was his first time to go so him catching a fish was all I really needed. :-) There were a few others there fishing but didn't see any other fish caught.
Maybe you should have kicked your buddy into the river, and took his rod?
Somebody had to have the black cloud over them this weekend. I guess it might as well have been me. Next time he doesn't get the beginners luck excuse!
