Panera Bread asks customers not to bring guns to its restaurants http://www.cnbc.com/id/101979812
Looks like another CEO that is trying to stay on the fence and help the Anti-gun Bloomberg groups claim victory. Basically the article states the CEO doesn't want guns unless they are on LEOs come in their stores, but will honor the state and local laws.

I'm not surprised by such a decision. If I were a business owner I wouldn't want people with AR15's coming in but I support a person's right to do so.

This is far from a win for the gun banners, it's quite pathetic if you think about it. They can't even get a no guns sign put up.

I see these measures (we ask that you don't carry, but won't say anything if you do) as being rather cowardly and a complete avoidance of making an actual decision. Almost as bad as the places that put up gun busters that are out of the way, practically in places that can't be seen without specifically looking.

I can see why they're doing it, but it really seems like they're trying to have their cake and eat it too.

Looks to me like what Starbucks, Chipotles, Target, and one or two others (whose names escape me at the moment) did: issue a mealy-mouthed statement to placate Mayor Bloomer's group, so they can claim victory, and how yet another company has bravely shown 'common sense' and done its' part to curb gun violence.

In the meantime, nothing has really changed. Are these people really that dumb?
