Little bit of pitina and neglect. These were my great grandfather's. He loaned them out since most folks didn't have a center fire rifle back then in this area. Some of the people wouldn't/ didn't wipe them down while in their possession.

Big difference between a 100 year old gun that was used to put food on the table for a generation or two...

...and a 40 year old gun that was used to break your fall in a saltwater-gravel driveway when you were 14 beers deep and trying to impress your spouse on your kid's rollerskates.

One is "patina", the other "meth".
