If I place in top 5, then is my last go at 5K, moving up to 10K.

Low round count will be good for the bolt gun people. Makes me wish I had one to run, other than my 1903A4.

Two things: main one being unpredictable weather in January. I don't want to get things complicated then have Mother Nature drop a bomb. Secondly, days are short then, we need to be sure to get runners all through and equipment off landowners place before dark.
