It's a CASE, of course it was worth $50.

I looked at a really nice Uncle Henry 4" fixed blade , in leather sheath; yesterday, at gun show. $100 was more than I willing to pay. At $50, I would of been all over it.

Some ‘Gold’ and ‘Silver’ rated Case dealers
Little joes boots
Antique store in perkins
Hardware store in Binger
There is an A/C contractor storefront in Moore about 3 blocks east of I35 on 4th street. It’s on the north side of 4th. He has a Case dealer yard sign out front. Haven’t been in that one though.

Crap I need to quit, I’m starting to get the urge again to procreate and I’m way to old to be adding to the collection.View attachment 321130 🤪

Knives has been such a hard thing for me to not go hoarding on them! I too as others has been gifting mine away over the last few years.

That is it. Oh what memories of that knife. I thought I was so cool! I snuck it to school all the time. I couldn’t wait to catch a fish and render it with the scale blade. Thanks for posting that.

@2busy , where would I start looking? What would that be called?
This one is stamped "fish knife" on the scale badge.

I have been collecting knives for 50 years.Started with case. Later benchmades and spydercos.I have 10 or 12 benchmade 940 osbornes of different styles in my safety deposit box that i oil 2 or 3 times a year.I probably should get a table at a gun show at some time or trade them for some 9mm ammo.

^^^deadwoodknives^^^ is a good source too. They have quite a few on eBay. My only issue with them is that I once received a knife that was clearly not the one pictured. Still a good source though.
