Luckily, Kansas, Iowa and much of the region were able to get through June without blackouts, brownouts or power disruptions despite the wind lull.

Speaking of wind power, not only is it unreliable, but it's bad for the environment.

Graveyard for non-recyclable turbine blades:

I used to go through Altamont Pass on my way to San Francisco and there were over 500 hideous wind turbines there that they shut down because it was killing way more wildlife than "anthropogenic global warming." They dismantled the old ones but have replaced them with "new and improved" models that won't kill birds. Clue: if the turbines are spinning, birds are dying.

The old setup from the 80s:

Hideous monstrosity constructed by hideous sub-human monstrosities: liberals.

If we would go back to candles and no airconditioning we would not need all this nonsense.
We don't "all" need to do that. If just the brain dead liberals (who are the real culprits in this scam) would go back to candles, etc, the rest of us could live just fine.

But, then again, if we abandoned the whole anthropogenic climate scam and started harvesting all available domestic petroleum resources (including, and especially, ANWAR), this whole thing would be a non issue.

While we are at it let’s ban democrats from owning firearms so deadly shootings can be reduced by roughly 95%. For democracy of course

"Renewable" energy???
I had found and article or two on the subject, wish I could find them again. More or less, the articles stated that over the lifetime of the windmills, assuming they had a full service life, they would typically break even on carbon emissions. But due to reliability issues and obsolescence, a good percentage of windmills are taken out of service before they’re anywhere close to that “break even” point. Also, I don’t believe that study took into consideration the transportation and disposal of those windmills.

This is kinda my opinion, there’s no facts behind this, it’s just based on what I’ve seen/read: windmills are more or less disposable. Most windmills are not used after they’re obsolete, it’s not cost effective.
