Poison Ivy

Spray poison ivy with 24-D and a surfactant or Dawn works fairly well and will kill the ivy. Its not too late to spray it now.

Exactly. The surfactant is a must do as the waxy leaves will just have spots on them from the spray most of the time with no kill.
Dawn dish soap is another agent to make wetter water.
BTW, store bought roundup no longer contains glyphosate. I bought a gallon yesterday at Lowes and looked at the contents when getting home. It was not in the list, but I also buy by the 2.5 gallon of the real stuff for serious work.

Dennis, at Tractor Supply, their 41% glyphosate has surfactant but the 53.8% does not. It's on the front label.

I've had good luck with the Bayer/Bioadvanced brush killer but it WILL kill stuff other than poison ivy.
Not real fast. Sometimes no visible results for a week or two but it does the job.

Just to let you know…. Deer will eat poison ivy so you might want to leave a little bit.

I should have stated earlier that it's the 1 gallon bottles of Roundup at Lowes that no longer contains Glyphosate.

You mentioned Lowes and i don't think a TSC is close by you. Just posting up options since I have both stores and noticed one had gly and the other didnt.

We have a Tractor Supply in town as well. I typically buy my chemicals from the Local COOP, but because it was just a small job with some grass in the flower bed, decided to hit Lowes as I get a military and farm tax discount.
