If those questioning are still around, most of the answers above are true in that they now require one to be a supporting (paying) member in order to see the stuff in the "Boiler Room," which includes the political, R-rated, and religious topics. However, some that have been here long enough are apparently "grandfathered in," because I still have access to those areas.

Well, I guess 13 years for me isn't "grandfathered" enough.

I’d like to personally take credit for the politics and religious sites being established. I was going through a 6 month period as an atheist and was questioning everyone’s thoughts on religion. Got so crazy that some people decided they wanted that section locked so people that wanted to talk about hot subjects could and others could stay out (probably more meant to keep me out). I do have access now. I was banned 3 times for my old evil ways. I’m a Christian again, so that’s why I’m so lovable now. If you want access just send a mod a private message. You’re welcome.

That's with me as well. Same as with the "watch porn" thread. While I can understand people liking watches enough to collect them, that isn't for me either.
