Not so much the govt but insurance companies.
Hate to have a claim and it be denied because of improper storage.

So what is the rule you follow? where did you find it? and how does your insurance company differ from the state regulations?

I can definitely tell you allow the government to dictate your life, as well I can tell your not a prepper.

I keep enough prepping supplies and equipment on hand for emergencies. They come in handy. For instance, when we were without power back in June of last year, I had electricity and everything else that I needed to stay at home in relative comfort.

I also have plenty of reloading components and ammunition. Since we competitively shoot, it's a necessity.

I try to store the components and ammunition safely. My storage methods are meant to protect against fire, flood, unauthorized access, and theft. If you want to believe that that makes me a patsy, then there's not much that I can do to change your mind.
