Prayers Needed

So I won't go into much detail but need prayers for my mom and step dad (more like a real father to me). He is in the emergency room as he was working to lay carpet in a house and the carpet knife slipped and almost cut off his thumb. He is self employed and doesn't have insurance. Times have been tough on them and prayers would be much appreciated as this year has not been good to them in any way.
