We did it to ourselves last time. Did we learn anything? I doubt it.

Wish I had bought up a ton or two of ammo before the election. I made some pretty good money on some stuff I had stockpiled before the last election, just because I had already sold the guns that it fit.

7.62x39 and AR fodder will get high and scarce for a while.

Last weekend at the Chickasha Badshot show, I saw a used Marlin .45-70 Guide gun priced for above NIB retail, the Colt Gunsite CCO I lusted after for twice the fair market value and a number of "Like new" Gen 3 Glocks for the mid $500's. Maybe that's a common occurance at gunshows, but this was the first one I'd been to in a long while.

BTW- The Badshot show was very well run, no reflection on them. The vendors set their own prices.

We've been watching SGAmmo's website all day; it's right at 2:00pm, and they've sold 60,000 rounds of 7.62x39 Golden Tiger alone since 7:00am. Haven't been watching any other than that. The UPS man will certainly need back surgery within a few weeks.
