My first rifle was a Remington Model 514, single shot, bolt action, .22 caliber rifle. I still have it, but I can't shoot it because years ago the bolt handle came off of the bolt assembly.
My uncle fixed it for me and then on a hunting excursion, it again came off. That time, I was not able to find the handle.
Thus, I am looking for either a handle or the full bolt assembly. Since this model was purchased when I was either 10 or 12 years old, I imagine it will be hard to find.
Does anyone know of a good gunsmith that could repair it, or does anyone know of a source for "out-of-date" weapons parts?
