I load .223 , after resizing / de prime.I start measuring the brass , book says to trim to 1.750. I cherry pick the ones closest /work those, & set off to the side the longest 1.765 + longest was 1.773.{I'll use the Lee tool & hand drill for the longest}
I took the longest case [.020 too long] & it chambered with no problem in both a Rem & Savage bolt gun . So that has me wondering I have never fired a case that long I always trim if they get over 1.760 . Am I trimming too often ??
