Maybe someone here can answer this question for me. I have a rare bottle of cognac I am wanting to sell in order to purchase a nice bottle of scotch. Anyone know if a normal person can sell a bottle of alcohol to a private buyer (of age) legally?
Not if you advertise it on the WWW that your doing so.

I looked on eBay and I saw lots of people selling the empty baccarat crystal decanter that the cognac comes in, but none of them still contained the alcohol itself. I read that if you post alcohol for sale on eBay, they will delete your posting.
eBay changed their rules when investigators exposed mass numbers o minors buying alcohol there on eBay
That is kind of what I figured.
