You have to have money in the bank to do that. I'm not risking an overdraft.
Bill Pay does not equal automatic payments. You can set up some automatic payments if you want but I never do that. You have control over what is paid and when with no risk of a surprise overdraft.
It's more like writing a check, but the account number on the check belongs to the bank, not you, so you're not exposing your bank account number anywhere.

Speaking as an IT guy, that sounds like the website was targeting you. Bill Gates and the Soros NWO probably found out you didn't get the *** and are starting to implement their plan for revenge. I bet if you went to donate money to Kamala right now it'd work no problem.
this is exactly right,, i have tried to get on left leaning sites , an had nothing but problems,, i text my Dem neighbor and he get right on the site...no problem,, there is Censoring,, limiting ,blocking , and jamming going on the internet...some political , some not, some intentional ,some not,, but it is going on..

Here, but occasionally There.
If you use Bill Pay through your financial institution you may wind up a lot less stressed. It's really an easy, secure way to make payments. Once set up paying the monthly bills only takes a few minutes.

My wife has been doing this for years. She goes in once a month and sets up a schedule with our banking service for each bill to be paid. They are always set up to be paid in advance of the due date, so even a late charge is never incurred. All of our banking is done via online services, so she can even transfer money from a savings account and put it into the checking account.

We also have a separate account for gasoline purchases, and most of the time, a limited amount of money is available in that account. That way, if that card gets hacked, they don't get much, and the one time that it did get hacked, a report to the banking service got it all back.

Won't it ding your credit report? If you have good or rather excellent credit it really doesn't matter. Or if you don ;t plan on buying anything on credit it's no a big deal regardless.

Our credit report is in very good shape, so the loss of a card used for any one thing is no big deal. In addition to that one card, she also canceled our membership with Costco (don't use it enough for what the annual dues are) and their credit card. The only time that card got used was at Costco.
