FROM OP:
"The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) in 2012 quietly amended its Form 4473 to force gun buyers to identify as either Indian, Asian, black, Pacific Islander, or white."...

The Washington Times reports that according to legal experts, requiring gun buyers to identify their race and ethnicity "is not required by federal law and provides little law enforcement value." Furthermore, gun industry officials worry about whether asking for the extra information creates "the risk of privacy intrusions and racial profiling."

Why was this new information gathering on the 4473's quietly started in 2012 for something that "is not required by federal law and provides little law enforcement value." Knowing Holder, the DOJ, the BATFE, etc. I wouldn't have any reservations in believing that they could wangle this into some type of "Loophole" so as to misuse and/or abuse the information collected on the 4473 form to somehow or someway fit into their anti-gun gun-grabbing agendas. IMHO, if this has not ever entered your mind, you are not doing due diligence and vigilence in order to protect your 2nd Amendment Rights for gunownership.
