There's a terrible cell phone video of around 800hp in a '57 pontiac. Riding in the thing was crazzzzzy. It freezes at the end for some reason. Oil pressure needle was bouncing between about 70-80 psi at around 800rpm.


Blowers are cool, but I don't think I could bring myself to do one on a street motor. Perhaps centrifugal, but definitely not roots.

Oh man YES!

When I turned 16 I had the choice between a Monte Carlo SS and a Grand National. I always loved the GN's more than the SS, but the GN needed some work that I just couldn't afford while being a sacker at Crest, but I'd probably still have that car if I got it then.

My oldest brother(RIP) used to have a four wheel drive roadster. With the differentials locked, it could smoke all four tires. It was rather quick off the line, too.

Vacuum at idle....0 psi. That car is so bad ass. I can't wait until he gets his hemi car done.

The surge is normal with bigger chargers and when you tune an engine to do one thing the best (wide open throttle) I like these kind too, they surge also, not blown but forced induction.

Its just a truck, six cylinder, diesel, 4x4, 3/4 ton, and probably weighs 6-7k lbs. Check out how long it takes to spool the turbo(s), must be huge.
