Brewing up some sauerkraut. About 8 gallons. Still about 16 cabbages to go. May add some carrots to the next batch.i may have gone a little overboard on cabbage this year.View attachment 379496View attachment 379497
Homemade kraut is just so much better than store bought.

Never had homemade kraut, but I'd durn sure try it!!!!!!

Homemade kraut is just so much better than store bought.

That's what my stepdad said when he made a batch in a 5 gallon crock....lol
No, I didn't try it.

Made some more kraut with carrots. Couple with some pepper rings. I hope the vinegar in the pepper doesn't mess up the fermenting. This will be going in the refrigerator when done for fresh eating.

The peppers were given to us. That's a lot of peppers. Friend of the wife shops at 69 outlet in Muskogee.
