My favorite revolvers are k and L frames. A 3” brl in a 65 is my favorite.
I've got a 3" L frame and have had a 3" Python --- still quite large -- i'm with you, - a 3" K frame would be the sweet spot - a 64 or 65 3" with a bobbed hammer for snagless carry would be pretty nice
