I've recently started keeping my eye out for vintage edged military weapons and have built a very small collection at this point. I stumbled across my two latest additions in the last couple weeks at a garage sale and pawn shop. Both are well worn but are intact and unaltered. Below are a few pics...
Ka-Bar USN MK 2 Type 1 (earliest variation) with USN marked Boyt 1943 scabbard. I traded a birch Garand stock and handguards for this knife and a 1943 dated GI footlocker that I found at a garage sale.
British 1907 Bayonet. Originally manufactured by Chapman in 1917 and re-issued into service twice more in 1930 and 1931. I picked this up from SSP. It was in pretty rough shape, but cleaned up pretty well after some careful cleaning.
