Chase bank still has free checking with no charges for debit card use.
If BOFA insists on their new debit card fees starting in January I expect chase bank to acquire a lot of new customers.
Don't count on it. Chase will follow suit. Already testing it in some areas.
JP Morgan and Chase are following suit, though their prices are $3/month while BoA is $5.
It's not that the $5 is something I can't afford, it's just that I've been looking to get out from under them since 2004 or 05 and this is the last straw.

i use BOK. They've been good to me
i have been using chase for years,never had any problems and no monthly charges or atm usage charges
