I have been jogging a lot and dont usually carry when I do, havent found a way I like yet. So I figured I would start carrying a neck knife. I obviously dont want it to be to thick, I kinda like the boker gnome, the esee izula, and ka-bar ldk, thinking I might even be able to hide the LDK under a sweat band on my wrist, or just strap it there in a home made paracord bracelet? Want it to be comfortable as I am running between 4.5-6 miles, and not rust like crazy. Thanks guys

I looked at them but is the handle too thick though? This will be worn under a dri-fit athletic cut shirt, not quite but almost compression style. I also looked at CRKT RSK MK5, and the cold steel bird and trout (dont know if I could get my finger in that hole in a hurry though, although I love this knife). The cold steel nightshade stuff is cool, just iffy on carrying a plastic blade. The Ka-bar eskabar looks pretty cool, but would I just be better spending the extra $15 and getting a real Esee. Wish we had a decent knife shop to fondle this stuff.

Be carefull of the Esee and the Eskabar, they are both high carbon steel and will rust. Look for something stainless but in the same size/shape. If I get a chance tonight I'll look through my wholesale catalogs and make a few recomendations.

i've carried an izula for something like 3 years now, and haven't had to worry about rust yet. long as you use it, and wipe it down occasionally rust will not be an issue. great knife, great sheath, excellent warranty and customer service. i know more than a few people carry one in a mercharness while running.
