I have test flights ready with 8208/129ablr, just haven't had time to shoot them yet. (Guess I have 1 mo th left to get that sorted out)

A guy on the Grendel forum runs H4895 in his with 129ablr, so you should be able to get something going. Granted H and IMR flavors are not identical, but they are typically in the neighborhood of each other. For h4895/129ablr, he said to start at 26.0 and work up in 0.2gn increments and seat as long as your mag will allow.

Ok thanks. I tried a set of two different lengths and was able to test them out today. I tried 25.0 gr of IMR 4895 and seated for OAL of 2.250” and 2.245”. Did four rounds of each and neither was that great.

Went by sports world in Tulsa to see if they had 8208 but they didn’t have it.

At this point, I’m thinking of either going to different powders or different bullets.
When I did initial runs, I set OAL to 2.258 to 2.260”. And then tried up to 26.0 grains but I was crushing powder at 26 grains. So I figured I better not go any more powder.

123 SST Hornady brass and AR-comp. Was a less than max charge that got me capable of shooting cloverleaf 3 shot sets at 100..... when I do my job 😐. Will try to remember to list the charge when I get back to the city.
