In fluted, blue. More of a matte finish than blue. Probably been 10 years since I've fired it. Bought in 95. trigger is light and crisp.

700VS in 22-250 is the bottom one. Barrel code says 1992, which tracks with me buying it in 1995.

I have a 700 custom built buy a gunsmith with 37 yrs experience. 308 19.5 inch Shelen heavy barrel. Stockys stock with full aluminum block, reworked trigger. Nice gun will sell at a loss as it’s taking up space in my safe
