I haven't been to the stores to check but the Brickseek folks are showing these for $125 with scope. (300 min mag, 308, 30-06, or 243)

Hell of a deal in any caliber. I think I still have one in -06, and a 783 in .308. They are great, affordable centerfire rifles. .300 win mag is fun as is -06, if you or a kid doesn’t care for big boomers, the .24: shoots easy and kills deer well.

I just snagged one in a .243 youth model. I don't generally impulse buy anything, but I couldn't pass one of these up for the kids. At this price, even if they use it for a few years and outgrow it, I'm not out much.

Not a bad rifle and I would buy a couple at that price for the youth hunting program I volunteer for. Need to check my Wal Mart.

Edit: No youth 243 or reg 243 within 65ish miles.

Gawd how I hate Wallyworld!

One hour just to get someone to the gun counter to tell me their gun selling software is down and they cannot sell any guns.

May I see the Remington770 rifles with scopes?

Appreciate it. It is about a 2.5 hour round trip for me. After reading your other post, I am not making that trip for a $190 Remington 770 that may not be able to be sold because the 4473 can't be checked by the dealer.
