Only thing I know is your gun should be able to swap out with any of the wood furniture that you prefer. imho opinion the 870 marine mag is a cool lookin' shotty. Appears to be well made, is of course shiny as heck, but that is what I like about it. Obviously made for resistance of the elements, but it would do the same behind a seat as a boat, though if you were hiding it wouldn't be my first choice. I cannot compare the other models, but have owned many 870's from express models, to the 870p. Like the police mag the best, it is superior built in all areas, sounds like you got the marine version of a police mag. I say you got the best built sans the chrome.
