Here's another project I did while also working on the remodel.
This was something I made for my Mom for her birthday a few months ago. It's all made from recycled, pressure treated, lumber. And is actually very comfortable to sit on.

You better tell your mom to be careful sitting on it because it might break being a Chevy seat!! Should have used a Ford!!

Good job and I know you invested a LOT of time and effort not to include running around looking for screws, boards etc. Admit it, you enjoyed it! But it sure wears a person out, I did it but not to the extent of drywall removal. And I enjoyed doing the work and the end result.
