Isn’t it odd that the House of Representatives has a 14-16% approval rating, yet 85% get reelected year after year.

It's because people think everybody else's Congressman is a crook but not THEIRS! That and the fund raising and the power of incumbency. That's why it was a mistake to run Kamaltoe rather than senile old Joe. He could have survived refusing to debate, it's not like the press was gonna go over to Trump. People don't like to admit they voted for the wrong guy so they keep re-electing these crooks.
