If you stick with just what he (OGR) said there is no argument. There is a huge difference! That does not mean the concept of Uniparty or RINO is not valid, it just means there is a world of difference. If there were no difference “Republican In Name Only” would have no meaning. Corruption of all sorts is the key. Rooting it out when found is the only answer. Trump and his picks right now are the closest we’ve come to a start. Will they be effective? It will be a miracle if they are. The inertial and seduction of power is a lot to overcome. But I prefer the hope he represents to the cynicism of throwing up our hands in the face of such a gift as this unlikely champion’s victory. Think of the odds he has overcome. From defeating 16 candidates in the 2016 primaries to the 3yr long rolling coup he survived, to impeachments, stolen election, prosecution, surviving to win another primary, assassination attempts - to winning against a lock-step collusion of deep-state & media. Seems like Divine Intervention considering those odds. Lets hope he’s up to it. He knows the forces he’s up against better than he did his first rodeo. His picks are showing that as glaringly as Biden’s picks showed the hand of the other side. And that itself proves a huge difference!

The two biggest scandals of my earlier life were Watergate and the Clinton/Lewenski scandal.
It is absolutely breathtaking what has occurred since. Off the top of my head here are those that had potential to cause single-terms in office, if not outright rejection by the people; that is, if we had not sunk to progressively lower and lower standards. The list is not comprehensive but it is impressive.
Fast & Furious: where death for a US agent occurred after the government, in a mad search of gun-dealer violations, became the biggest violator and armed Cartels members with guns. And where the Attorney General was found in contempt of Congress for withholding information.
The IRS scandal: where the most feared & powerful institution in the U.S. was turned lose on Conservative non-profits in the most blatant weaponization of an agency to date.
Obama’s authorization to spy on the opposition Presidential Candidate with full knowledge that the basis for authorization was false.
The coordinated efforts of the Intelligence Community, knowing the background of the political opposition research report known as the Steele Dossier, paid for by the Clinton Campaign, remained largely silent initially and ultimately piled on in a three-year effort to hamstring a President of the United States.
No less that three Heads of U.S. Intelligence Agencies lying under oath to Congress about a variety of legitimate “Oversight” issues, including spying on Americans.
There were numerous Policy Scandals we are familiar with, most of which map directly back to cultivating political power by gaining votes. From the border, to inflation-causing stimulus, to Student Loans, or currying to a variety of WOKE constituencies or driving wedges with Identity Politics through DEI-over-Meritocracy style initiatives. These are scandals in themselves but too numerous to mention beyond the very worst, unless your loved one was one of 13 dead in the botched Afghan withdrawal. The Cabinet Make-up of the current Administration is a grand snapshot representing such scandalous pandering.
One policy-scandal that deserves mention and defies limits on breadth and scope is our government’s collusion with a willing media and our Social Media Platforms. That is the scandal of censorship. Whether about Covid: alternate and available treatment, the necessity of lockdowns, the efficacy of mandates, the truth about its origins, the retaliation against “expert” dissidents whose oppression qualifies them for the moniker “Medical Freedom Fighters”, this was particularly breathtaking. That censorship covered election fraud and amounted to a carefully curated PsyOp Campaign against Americans themselves and extended well beyond Covid.
Enter the Laptop-from-Hell Cover-up: The same laptop in possession of the FBI for a full ten months. The veracity throughout the cover-up was known but this was so big that three scandals grew from this alone.
One was the Aspen institute and Government Agency collusion with Main Stream press as they gathered in Aspen, then war-gamed how the release of the information would be spun by the networks to the public.
A second was the 51 Intelligence Official signatories to a Russia-Disinformation PsyOp in time to produce a sound-byte opportunity for the Presidential debate.
The most glaring intel in the laptop, though not the most disgusting, was the Pay-to-play influence-peddling that dated back to Biden’s Vice Presidency and continued into his Presidency. This involved his entire family, where at least 24 shell-companies funneled at least 20 million to members of the First-Families accounts.
Besides the Secret Service finding Cocaine in the White House or Congressional Staffers filming themselves engaging in gay-sex in Capital buildings, more substantive and systematic scandals became a gaslighting competition.
Such as the widespread collusion between party and press to cover-up cognitive decline of the Commander in Chief.
Followed by in internal Party Coup once that decline threatened Democrat’s retention of political power.
That was followed by a back-room selection of a new candidate without any voter selection.
But before that, there was the legal-warfare of five indictments of the political opposition.
The previous Weaponization of government agencies like the IRS can be considered dry-runs I suppose. After all, the DOJ was getting good enough to go after parents and Catholics at School Board meetings or protesters outside Abortion Clinics. Why not the political opposition?
And let us not forget the very significant effort to remove that opposition from the ballot within States, depriving voters of their vote, all while reciting odes to Democracy.
My finger is getting tired but I assure you I could type more. When people say “corruption, scandal, anything-goes political infighting, it’s always been this way”… they delude themselves! Yes! There has been and always will be corruption. But there used to be Marquess of Queensberry Rules, even in politics. Violators must be prosecuted because we’re talking about much worse than an ensuing brawl if violations and violators are not held to account. We are talking about a system of government that slips off its perch as a “necessary evil”, to a wholly corrupt Evil.
We better hope there is a difference between what we’ve had and what we got now. Doesn’t hurt to be skeptical but it doesn’t hurt to hope this has Electiin result happened for a reason either.

Whether it’s illegal immigration, climate change mitigation, funding foreign conflicts and addressing the collateral damage, public health policy, crime, pretty much anything else that’s a hot button issue, is actually a grift.
The Trump Administration needs to hold single issue press conferences where they deliver cold, hard facts. They should be held at regular intervals, say monthly or quarterly. Show charts that name groups and individuals who profit all along the chain. Take no questions. Instead, issue the reports and challenge the media to refute them.
Also, set up a public facing website that shows everyone both the executive summary for each issue and links to the raw data. Again, challenge citizen sleuths to prove or refute them. Offer substantial rewards for people who expose the corruption, and provide them free legal representation if their evidence is true and accurate.
Yes people need to be held to account, but first you must stop the bleeding. When a “public service” is proven to in fact be a for profit enterprise that elected officials, bureaucrats and connected people and organizations are taking advantage of, the money has to stop flowing immediately. The IRS should be in charge of clawing as much back as possible while the cases are still in litigation. People and organizations proven to be guilty must have all assets frozen and all activities suspended. Dry up the money and the leeches will move on.
This has to happen or eventually we’ll be bled dry. What else at this point do we have to lose?
