The only revolver I have in my collection is this old WWII lend lease .38 S&W. I bought it long ago. An American join the British army to get into the fight early. He was issued this revolver until the British were able to produce their Webley's, once the British had their production up and running the American revolvers were to be turned in and destroyed. This young soldier kept his and brought it back to America after the war. I bought it from his grandson. I really like this pistol it has the British crown stamps of approval from the British gunsmiths.
