Ridiculous restaurant experience

Ridiculously good.

We went out to Louie's and the waitress was all over it! She was nice to my kids, and my wife was impressed. Waitress kept topping the kids water up to 3/4 because she said she knows they like to spill it, and if they're not full to the brim then kids wear a little less. We normally have to ask for that or make it happen ourselves. We never ran out of anything and she was by a lot to check on us.

I've been trying to make an effort to provide feedback on the positive interactions with businesses, so on my way out I popped by the manager to say what an awesome time we had and how great our waitress was. He was kind of busy so I didn't bore him with it, just a quick rundown.

Afterwards, I went out to bring the car around while my wife paid.
The manager gave my wife a small coupon for our next visit, and came by the car as we were loading the kids up to shake my hand and say thanks for the good feedback.


So there's a good challenge: The next time someone treats you well, tell their boss or leave a good review publically.

We eat there fairly regularly and have NEVER gotten even mediocre service -- it's always exceptional. I've taken to not tipping at all when I get bad service and then using that money to tip the good wait staff over and above the 15% to 20% that is customary. The youngsters at Louie's LOVE to see us coming through the door!

We have eaten at 2 different Louies in OKC and both have been good experiences. My family had a great time and the prices are reasonable. We will definitely go back.

Never been to Louies but I try to make it a point to let a manager know when I've had great service. It's definitely a good habit to get into.

Not to rain on the Louie's Love too much, but I ate at Louie's in Edmond today and there was a gun-buster sign. It WAS a good eating experience, though, as always.
