River Otter Track?

We trout fish at Lake Tanneycome twice a year, and since the browns feed nocturnally, I try to fish at night as much as possible.
If we catch any during the day, I keep them in my soft side basket, and clean them later on. Usually its at night, and the local wildlife knows the routine. Don't know if its the sound of the pump running or the water leaving the cleaning area and dropping into the lake that pulles them in, but there will be every thing from muskrats, to cats, to cranes, waiting on the fisherman to throw the carcass away.

Mink although 5 toed, often only show a 4 toed track from the front foot. Tracks are usually just over an inch long.

I think you are correct. I think it is just too small to be a river otter track.

Funny, when I first read the title of this thread I thought it said River Otter Attack. Those things have always looked like they would tear you up if they wanted.
