My point is that you and nobody else knows what was in her contract or anyone elses for that matter. What we are seeing and I'm verifying is that the left takes care of their own and silences those that don't follow their narrative. It's blatantly obvious.
The left claims to be a champion of the people and the peoples rights until it disagrees with their opinion, then it evolves into name calling, and denigrating the person, their family and their circle of friends.
It's the same scenario every time that it's almost getting predictable. Bring out the scorned women, make wild salacious claims from "unnamed sources" that can't be verified, and impune the character of everyone around them.
Like Okie4570, I'd like to see some specific examples of your claims, not general statements that can't be verified. I've produced my side of the discussion.

Your links are because of ratings, and not because of one person's personal comments. Your not comparing apples to apples.

The bill Maher one is almost identical
"ABC had been expected to make changes to its late-night programming, with ''Politically Incorrect'' seen as particularly vulnerable to cancellation. The show's host, Bill Maher, had alienated some advertisers, ABC executives and even the White House press secretary, Ari Fleischer, with a comment he made soon after the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11.
Living up to his show's title, Mr. Maher took issue with characterizations of the hijackers as cowards, arguing that ''we have been the cowards, lobbing cruise missiles from 2,000 miles away.''

Having never worked in television, I'm going to speculate that a person's personal comments affect ratings, as well as sponsorship, and overall revenue. They've got this down to a science, they know their investment in the show, their projected earnings, their potential earnings, and potential liabilities/losses. there's an accountant somewhere that had to help a corporate head decide if this juice was worth the squeeze.

Ari Fleischer was doing his thing in 2003 during the Bush administration.
We are talking Roseanne today. This week, and the hypocracy or as some say double standard of the left.
My links are within days, not years.

Shouting "confirmation bias" every time is cute and trendy right now but there's a reality with regards to the state of mind with the current media and "Hollywood" bias. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for religious groups not getting their way, but in today's world one would have to have blinders on to not see the hypocrisy. I get that you like to ride the fence, play devil's advocate, or whatever but let's give Trump's daily barrage as an example. People say stuff about him daily that if on a different platform, and in a different situation, to the same degree, would get a show cancelled. In Cathy Griffin's case she claims that's exactly what happened..... well.... let's wait till it happens to Jimmy Kimmel or someone that really is successful before we call that even. Look no further to the lack of uproar by the media from the first lady being called a "feckless kunt" within the last few days.

Keep in mind though, all of this is to talk of an environment, not ABC's decision.

Keep moving that goal post, it went from “it doesn’t happen,” to “prove it happened,” and now to “prove it happened this week.” Lol

The truest hypocrisy here is each side thinking they’re not hypocrital while judging the other groups hypocrisy. People **** about the president daily regardless of who’s in the office. People said stuff about obama and Michelle fail that would have gotten a show cancelled if in a different situation, just as people talked about George and Laura before that. Biases are definitely present but “social justice,” (for lack of a better word) is a pendulum that swings left to right and right to left every handful of years. acting as if it’s new and different each time comes with it’s iwn set of blinders. So, yes confirmation bias is ithe cute buzz word of the minute but it fits the situation.
