One of these days we'll figure out that government should be run like a responsible business...

Guys how many times and how many ways do I have to say they could fund this by just cutting government waste????? Heck if they cut all the wasteful spending and things the feds have no business doing they could wipe out the debt inside 20 years.

Sure it is. If my business is spending $120,000 in services I don't need per month, and I stop spending it there and spend it elsewhere, I just "cut" my spending.

Children now pay attention. I am suggesting something like Israel does but I feel we would have a harder time selling private security to most of the country in place of police. All you paranoid types aside, most people trust police over rent-a-cops. I also think some of you are vastly over estimating the number of teachers that would be willing or able to pass a good training course and carry a firearm.
