It shot a 16” along with a full size 16” Sig AR-10. The recoil difference between the two wasn’t noticeable but the Ruger is much lighter and more maneuverable.

Mine has been solid, absolutely no problems. And has put meat in freezer!

Is the brake deafening?

I'm sure it helps with the recoil but I'm wondering if it's worth the trade off when at the range shooting a few rounds.

If it's anything like mine, yes. It's loud. My ear pro tames it well. No difference from any other large caliber rounds.

Oh yeah. And the concussion to the sides is a lot. It’ll get people’s attention quick. I definitely want to get a suppressor and try it.

When my can is released from jail, I have an YHM QD to throw on my mine. Hoping it works out well because with this break and moving to an A5 system, I have this rifle tamed way down.
