I recently looked at one of these Ruger LC carbines and it’s light and I like the folding stock.

1st choice, I'd use a 1-6x with a good mil reticle you can use for holds.
2nd would be a small dot (2 moa) reflex and a magnifier.

This gun is the #1 priority for me when I make my first purchase as a new resident of the state. I plan on running it with a Primary Arms SLx 1x, or maybe a SLx 3x
