Ruger and Smith & Wesson's facebook pages are lit up with posts from loyal customers requesting they join the ever growing list of firearms manufacturers, distributors and retailers changing their sales policies to exclude law enforcement agency sales of products in states where new laws are making these products illegal for law abiding civillians to purchase, infringing on their second amendment rights.

By their logic, they should consider relocating to gun friendly states that have supported pro-gun laws.

Oklahoma should fall into the top of the list of states to be considered.

Yes, they both seem to encourage us to make a stand for the 2A... contact our representatives... and that is good...
Maybe it's also time for THEM to make a stand?
Show THEIR support by their actions?

It will be great if they end up Doing what these other companies have done. I know that they are huge companies and they are mostly about making money but they should realize what is at stake here. This isn't about making money, it's about our freedom. If the 2A is infringed upon it will not only hurt us but also them. There is a lot at stake here. This would be huge if they would take a stand and not sell to the government and anti gun LEO's. Or any anti gun states. People need to keep pressing them.

Just refusing to do business with anti-gun state governments would be huge.

Especially if S&W did it. Lots of departments issue their pistols and rifles (for good reasons). What a statement that would be.

GTG's point that it's time to "get some skin in the game" is the same phrase that occurred to me.

Actually, it is a money thing for them. If these efforts to restrict guns to civilians continue to pass, pretty soon the LE market will be all they have. And that would be a big hit to their bottom line. They should be able to realize that these bozo lawmakers will not stop until civilian gun ownership ceases to exist.
