Actually, FWIW, I'm quite happy with the GSR in 223 and 308. I think the idea was to have it use common military ammunition. I'd like to see it in 7.62 X 39 as well. Then I'd have all my GSR bases covered.
Took it out today, putting 30 rounds into the target. This was one of my better days with it. Granted, I was shooting at close range and from a rest with the rifle's bipod, but I am fairly encouraged. I have also downloaded some marksmanship films from the US Marines, and I will use the tips that they gave in the film.
