Does anyone else have one of these? Mine is the older six-shot 4" version, and it is a fine little shooter. The action is smooth, even if a tad stiff, and I was wondering how it compares to the newer eight-shot version.

Any takers?

I've had no issues with mine. Very good quality and well worth the money. SSP has one right now for $500, far less than you can find a S&W 617 for.

Is yours a six-shooter or an eight-shooter? How is the trigger pull on yours? I've heard that some of the newer ones have horrendous triggers.

Mine is 8. It has a heavy double-action trigger pull, but smooth. I typically shoot single-action.

I also have a 101 in 9mm. It is my carry gun.
